I can’t remember a time when music wasn’t a part of my life.
I have faint memories of my childhood home smelling of Lemon Pledge, the Eagles on the record player and Mom cleaning the house. I would sit down at the Piano and make up my own songs, refusing to learn notes. Later in life the guitar proved to be a faithful companion. My old tobacco guitar followed me through college. I still have her, good old Essie. But for some reason no instrument can move my soul like the piano.
I found this old piano/organ in Lynden. I love the smell of it. Like old books. You can breath in the history, almost feel the emotions that have been tapped out in ivory keys. Just something about a piano.
